COVID-19 Cancellation

In the event of a cancellation due to a positive COVID-19 test, Boatsetter can supersede the owner’s cancellation policy if the renter provides us with proof of their positive COVID-19 test result. Please note we can only provide a refund if the renter is the one that has tested positive for COVID-19. If someone in the renter’s charter group tests positive for COVID-19, we cannot issue a refund without the permission of the boat owner.


If the renter does not test positive for COVID-19, then the renter will be held accountable to their original cancellation policy for rentals. The cancellation policy for your rental may vary depending on the owner’s policy. You can review our cancellation policy here.
