There are three ways to create a booking through our website:
Some boats are able to be booked instantly (meaning they have the “Instant Book” feature turned on). To pay for an instant booking, navigate to the boat listing page of your choice, and click on the “Instant Book” button. From there, you will be prompted to enter your trip and payment information. After you click “Instant Book,” your payment will be processed and the booking will be automatically approved.
For boats with Instant Book enabled, you will see a button labeled “Instant Book” in the message thread.
Request to Book
To begin, navigate to the boat listing page of your choice and click on the “Request to Book” button. You will be prompted to enter your trip and payment information (date, duration, passengers, etc.) From here, the booking will move into the “Pending” state, where the owner has 72 hours to approve or decline the request. If the request is approved within this 72 hour period, payment will automatically be charged and the booking will be confirmed. If not approved within 72 hours, the request will expire and you will need to submit a new booking request.
Messaging an owner
If you message an owner, you will be prompted to fill out details regarding your inquiry. In addition, you will be asked to include a message with information about your desired booking.
Pre-approvals: To pay for your pre-approved booking, navigate to your messages and open the conversation related to your booking. From the conversation, you can click “Book now” on the right-hand side and continue to checkout. Once you have confirmed your payment, your booking will be automatically approved. If the owner does not pre-approve your inquiry, or if you do not click “Book now” on a pre-approved inquiry, the inquiry will automatically expire when the inquiry date has passed.
