Boat owners have complete control of the boat price for each rental duration you offer. The duration options are 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, and 8 hours. When a renter sends an inquiry or booking request, they select from the durations you choose to offer.
Prices may vary based on:
- Boat type, age, and make
- Amenities or add-ons available
- Boat location
Search for similar boats in your area to try and get a sense of booking prices. As a new owner, you may want to charge lower rates to attract renters comparing your boat to ones with reviews.
To edit your boat price, navigate to your Owner Dashboard > My boats > Edit listing > Durations & pricing > Edit.
Boatsetter also offers Smart Boat Pricing, a tool that helps you price your boat competitively in the market in relation to other local boats similar to yours. To enable Smart Boat Pricing, navigate to your Owner Dashboard > My boats > Edit listing > Durations & pricing > Edit > Scroll down and switch the toggle option to “Smart boat pricing”.
Some owners increase prices for specific days, such as holidays or busy boating days. You can edit daily pricing by accessing the calendar.
