Reporting boat damage or lost items

We do our best to provide you with the tools and resources needed to make your rental a safe experience, but we understand that sometimes accidents happen. All damages or lost items must be reported to Boatsetter within 48 hours, using the pre/post-booking inspection form for documentation. If you locate lost items, you can either email us at claims@boatsetter.com or directly message the renter whose items you think you found.

If you are covered by GEICO BoatUS

To help us expedite a resolution and to avoid a $1,000 liability on potential damages, you are required to complete the pre/post-booking inspection form and take accompanying photos for each rental and be prepared to submit them to both us and GEICO BoatUS.
