Pre-approval is a feature that allows an owner to pre-approve your booking request before it's finalized. This is only available if you have [messaged an owner](https://support.boatsetter.com/en_us/messaging-an-owner-HJLWLkons) and have not yet entered payment information. The booking will not be finalized until you submit payment information and agree to our Terms of Service. 

To finalize your pre-approved booking:

*   Navigate to your Messages and open the conversation related to your booking.
*   From the conversation, click “[Book now](https://support.boatsetter.com/en_us/how-to-pay-SJOW81i2o)” or "Instant Book" and continue to checkout.
*   Once you have entered payment information and agreed to our Terms of Service, your booking will be automatically approved.
