# How to set up a charter listing for your business

Experience charters (e.g. fishing charters, sailing charters, eco tours) and self-operated boat rentals are both offered on Boatsetter. If you operate a charter boat, there are a few things to keep in mind when setting up your boat listing.

*   When selecting your [insurance type](https://support.boatsetter.com/en_us/what-type-of-insurance-do-i-need-to-list-my-boat-on-boatsetter-rJyB0ycyg), make sure to select that you have commercial charter insurance. Our team will contact you in the following days for insurance verification.
    *   If you don’t have your own charter insurance, you can use Boatsetter’s [Peer-to-Peer Insurance Policy](https://support.boatsetter.com/en_us/buoy-peer-to-peer-insurance-HJJP3Pobll), but you will need to register in the Boatsetter Captain Network in order to [captain](https://support.boatsetter.com/en_us/how-to-add-a-captain-to-my-boat-B1uGUJjns) your boat.
*   Use the [listing](https://support.boatsetter.com/en_us/my-boats-BkNfIyjhj) title to specify experiences offered (e.g. fishing charters, eco tours, sunset cruises, harbor tours, etc.). In the description section, include key details about each experience option. 
    *   If you have more booking options than the standard durations available (2, 3, 4, 6, 8 hours, and multi-day), mention that here too. When [responding](https://support.boatsetter.com/en_us/how-to-respond-to-booking-requests-ryEX8kjno) to inquiries and booking requests, you’ll have the option to [edit the inquiry](https://support.boatsetter.com/en_us/how-to-respond-to-an-inquiry-SkX7Lys2j) or booking request with custom pricing and timing.
*   Upload [photos](https://support.boatsetter.com/en_us/how-to-edit-your-boat-photos-BJ9MLko3s) of guests enjoying the experiences you provide.
