After reviewing the links above, you should be a bit more empowered by the knowledge of how Boatsetter is designed to revolutionize the boat rental/charter industry! But before we set sail on your entrepreneurial venture, let’s first make sure that your account is properly set up.  

  

Log into your Boatsetter account and navigate to your Owner Dashboard. You should see a screen similar to this:

## **Payout Preferences**

You will need to submit your preferred bank information, tax details, and photo identification to ensure that your listing becomes publicly visible. Boatsetter’s third-party payment processor needs to validate your account information, so by submitting these details as soon as possible, you will prevent your earnings from any potential transfer delays. [Learn more about payouts here!](https://support.boatsetter.com/en_us/payouts-rJ_QLko2s)

## **Payout History**

You will see a breakdown of all your successfully transferred earnings here. Please allow 48-72 hours after the conclusion of a booking for your earnings to arrive. Remember to corroborate the information in your payout history with the amount(s) deposited into your bank account.

## **Profile**

The great thing about Boatsetter is that there is a unique individual behind every vessel with their own unique story. **TIP #2: Your guests want to know a little bit about the person whose vessel they will be enjoying, so be sure to introduce yourself and include details, such as your passion for boats/boating, your favorite local destinations, and fun facts about your background. Not only does this make your listing more personable, but it also signals common interests to your guests.** It is yet another way to differentiate yourself from other owners who may have a similar vessel at a similar price point. Don’t forget to include a friendly picture - a lot of owners choose pictures where they are with their significant other or family, as this makes them appear friendlier and more approachable to renters. To edit your profile, navigate to "My account", then "Personal information", and edit the “About you” section under "Personal Information".

## **Tax Forms**

You will need to provide your tax information here to validate your account and ensure that your listing becomes publicly visible. This information will be used to deliver the appropriate documentation to you when tax season comes around. Your tax form will need to be updated annually and takes about one minute to complete. ## **My Boat Manager**

If you have a trusted individual with whom you would like to manage your Boatsetter account, listings, and rental inquiries on your behalf, you may invite them here without giving them your personal login information.
